Gig Fee Calculator V1.00 app for iPhone and iPad

Simple application designed for musicians and performers to quickly calculate whether the amount offered for a gig will result in there being enough money available to pay themselves and their musicians after costs have been taken into account. It also has the facility to calculate the minimum price you should charge based on the costs you intend to incur for a gig.

(1) The application allows you to set individual rates for session musicians or other individual performers

(2) You can set a fixed amount that you want to pay all band members excluding session players and the app will determine if that amount can be paid after costs have been calculated. if it can this will be confirmed in the report summary, but if not and there are available funds it will suggest a reduced figure to pay your band members so that you do not lose money. ( The assumption is that all band members who are not session players will be paid equal amounts).

(3) Agent manager fees are to be entered as percentages and post calculation the report will show the monetary value of that percentage.

(4) A simple report is provided allowing you to further analyse the breakdown of costs.

(5) The report can be freely edited and/or forwarded by email.

(6) As simple save option, post calculation, is available and the on-screen data is stored and will be restored to the screen when the app is re-opened.

(7) The data entry screen can be cleared by shaking the phone or pressing the reset button.

(8) A help screen is provided via the tab bar.

(9) Shaking the screen when on the "About the Developer" tab takes you through a series of detailed photos of the bass guitar used as a backdrop to the App.
